A beautiful wife loved her husband so much she left family
and country to follow him. They lived in a foreign land and had two sons who
married foreign wives. But then the husband and sons all died and the women
were on their own.
“I’ll go home,” said the mother-in-law. “You two young women
should stay here and marry again.”
But the youngest girl loved her
mother-in-law and answered, “No, I’ll go where you go.”
“But you won’t belong
among my people,” her mother-in-law replied.
“Yes I will. Your God will be my
God and will love me forevermore.”
