God loved Methuselah’s father Enoch so much, he took Enoch to
heaven without even waiting for him to die. Methuselah was sad because he’d
quite liked having his father here on earth. But he hoped maybe God would love
him as much one day too.
When Methuselah’s grandson Noah started building an
ark, Methuselah was the oldest man in the world. But God still hadn’t taken Methuselah
home. Then God sent a flood to destroy all the evil in the world. “Help!”
shouted Methuselah, and God, who loved him just as much as his father Enoch,
but differently, said “Come.”
